The gallery is a co-operative, open year round and is part of a Girdwood based non-profit promoting the arts and art education in the Four Valleys area. We are actively seeking artists working in all mediums. Exceptions: photography, beadwork jewelry, and glass as we have multiple artists working in these mediums. The GCVA provides a variety of community events to keep art alive in Alaska. Recognized as a leader in Alaska’s arts community GCVA receives grants from the Anchorage Arts Advisory Commission and Alaska Arts and Cultural Foundation. As important, GCVA enjoys the support of the members of the Girdwood community through their generous donations of time and financial contributions. As a result pottery, fabric, oil painting, watercolors, silk painting, woodworking, jewelry, glass, and more are available at our enchanting gallery.
