Artists Wanted

The Girdwood Center for Visual Arts is searching for new artists to join our co-op.

The purpose of the Girdwood Center for Visual Arts (GCVA) Artisan’s Cooperative is to provide gallery space for artists to show and sell their art, to provide community awareness of resident artists and provide the artists with the learning experience of marketing their art.

The artist members of the GCVA Artisan Cooperative share the responsibilities for keeping the GCVA Gallery functioning and successful.

We are actively seeking artists working in all mediums.

Download an application.  Bring the completed application with samples of your artwork to the GCVA gallery to be juried.  Contact GCVA for more information at gcvamanager@gmail.com or 907-783-3209.

GCVA is also looking for artists who are interested in becoming a part of our Arts Outreach Program. The goal of this program is to offer educational experiences in all art forms, not just visual arts. We hope to create opportunities for our community in the form of workshops, lectures, performances and demonstrations. We would like to include experiences for all ages, preschool through adult, however each artist will be able to choose the target audience they are comfortable with. If you are interested in more information please email inquiry to  gcvamanager@gmail.com.
